This clock sets itself to the system time on the computer, whether viewed via a website or as part of the Active Desktop.
You may use these clocks free of charge on your own websites.

Instructions for the use of this clock on the Windows Active Desktop environment
______________________________________________________________________________________

For Windows XP users
______________________________________________________________________________________

1. Unpack zip file to a convenient directory on your hard drive
2. Save a copy of your wallpaper image to the same directory
3. Open the file named 'desktop.html' with a text editor such as notepad
4. Replace the wallpaper filename and background colour where indicated in the html document and save the document
5. Right click in an empty area of your desktop and click on 'Properties'
6. Click the 'Desktop' tab and click on 'Customize Desktop'
7. Click the 'Web' tab then the 'New' button and browse
8. Locate the file 'desktop.html' and click on open
9. Click 'Ok' and you should now have a clock in the top-right corner of your desktop.

You can change the position of the clock by changing the parameters in the <td> statement

    <td align="right" valign="top">	= top-right
    <td align="right" valign="middle">	= middle-right
    <td align="right" valign="bottom">	= bottom-right
    
    <td align="left" valign="top">	= top-left
    <td align="left" valign="middle">	= middle-left
    <td align="left" valign="bottom">	= bottom-left
    
    <td align="center" valign="top">	= top-center
    <td align="center" valign="middle">	= middle-center
    <td align="center" valign="bottom">	= bottom-center

For Windows 98+ users
______________________________________________________________________________________

1. Unpack zip file to a convenient directory on your hard drive
2. Save a copy of your wallpaper image to the same directory
3. Open the file named 'desktop.html' with a text editor such as notepad
4. Replace the wallpaper filename and background colour where indicated in the html document and save the document
5. Right click in an empty area of your desktop and click on 'Active Desktop - Customize My Desktop'
6. Click on new and then 'Browse'
8. Locate the file 'desktop.html' and click open
9. Click 'Ok' and you should now have a clock in a window on your desktop.
10. Drag the window to where you want your clock and you are done.

Instructions for the use of this clock on a website

1. Unpack clock (xxx.swf) from zip file to a convenient directory in a local copy of your site
2. Insert the following code into the page in which you wish to display the clock, replacing "[NAME OF FLASH FILE HERE]" with the path and name of the clock.
